I just bought a Powertec Leverage Gym and was wondering if you've ever tried doing dips on it? I figured that setting the lever arm parallel to the floor and rotating the bench out to the side would make this possible.

I am a little hesitant to try it myself for fear that such an unconventional use might compromse the machine and/or my safety.

Thanks,
Dave

Hi
What kind of exercise is better?
Lying Leg Curls on lying equipment or Leg Curls on equipment that you
sit like you do the Leg Extensions but pushing weigh down.

I mean which of them you recommend to use and more efficient and which avoid a pain in low back.
Regards.

Hi Dan

Yes apparently you can only enter on the NZ site so I don't think there is an Aussie competition anymore.

I am a really competitive person but this is one competition I would not enter. I have read how much work people have put into transformation comps just at small gyms and haven't come away with any silverware. So you would have to be a freak to win this.

If you are disciplined the results you will get from week to week will keep you going. Once you are in the groove you will be that focused that you will just keep going as the results become harder to come by in the later stages.

Good luck and let us know how you go.

Thanks, Sam.

Hi Blake

I assume you mean supersetting – eg do one set of bench press and then do one set of lat pulldowns and repeat.

If you are just getting back into it I would just rest between sets – you will need it.

If you want to shorten the workout cut the rest down to 45-60 seconds and then superset the bicep and tricep exercises at the end. Hope this helps.

Thanks,

I am going to start this program to get myself ready for my regular routines again. Thanks
Quick question though, instead of resting 60-90 seconds between sets on one routine can i move onto the next routine immediately and then come back to the initial set until i have completed the full 3 sets?
