Lee Priest – Australia’s Champion Bodybuilder
I just thought I would add a small bio of Lee Priest’s achievements for our customers who don’t know, or would like to know more about a fair dinkum bodybuilding champion.
If Lee Priest played cricket, tennis or golf he would be a household name in Australia. However despite his amazing achievements in professional bodybuilding Lee remains relatively unknown in the wider community in Australia. This is a shame because Lee has been a great ambassador for Australia in the world of bodybuilding.

Lee’s longevity and success in competition at the highest level will ensure that he goes down in bodybuilding history as one of the sports true champions. Placing 6th at the Mr Olympia at the age of 25 was a truly remarkable achievement – given that most bodybuilders haven’t even become professional at this age.
With bodybuilders sometimes hitting their peaks in their late 30’s we may have yet to see the best of Lee Priest. The legend is planning on making his comeback at the IFBB Australian Grand Prix IX in Melbourne on the 14th March 2009. This will be huge for Australian bodybuilding so it is important that all Lee’s fans get out there to support him as this event is a qualifier for the Mr Olympia. The Olympia is where the world’s best bodybuilders compete, so to have an Australian to cheer home would be great for Australian sport.
Lee will be training for the IFBB Australian Grand Prix IX on the Powertec and Ironmaster gym equipment – it is an awesome home gym set up! Sam’s Fitness is proud to be supporting Lee in his come back and for our customers it shows that Powertec and Ironmaster gym equipment is the best bang for buck strength equipment in the market.
