Inshape Eastgardens Gym Closed
Inshape Eastgardens Gym has closed and left hundreds of members in the lurch. Apparently staff members are owed money too. This gym was the reason I started importing gym equipment.

I started training at this gym when it was called Mighty M. I was a regular there and trained at 6am when it opened. It was a great gym back then. It had good gym equipment and most of the early morning trainers were regulars so there was always a good vibe.
I remember when Inshape took over. They closed it for a few days, painted a couple of walls in bright colours and put in really bright fluorescent lights. Not good for people training at 6am!
They also threw out the piece of timber we used to elevate our heels at the squat rack.
No dramas, I bought in a new piece.
They threw that out too. Maybe they thought the squat rack was used for bicep curls?
The straw that broke the camels back was that members from their Alexandria gym started training at Eastgardens. The gym started getting crowded. Instead of being a stress release my workout now was causing me stress. I didn’t have time to waste as I had to bolt home to go to work.
That is when I started investigating setting up a home gym and now the rest is history.
