Recipe for the Morning Summer Protein Smoothie
Here is the recipe from the October 2008 Newsletter. This compliments the Summer Weight Training Program perfectly. As well as cutting back your time on the gym equipment over summer to enjoy the outdoors, you also want to cut back the time in the kitchen - without missing out on the essential nutrients.
Morning summer smoothie – Here is a simple and quick recipe for your breakfast or morning meal. It is a quick and easy way to get a balanced meal of protein, carbs and essential fats – perfect for the weekend when you are heading off to the beach.
200ml of natural pineapple juice
100g of natural yoghurt
6 strawberries
Tablespoon of peanut butter
200ml of golden eggs cutting edge egg whites
Mix in a blender for 1 min and serve with a little ice
(If you can’t get hold of egg white use a scoop of whey instead)
