Recipe - Turkey Chilli

This is the recipe that was featured in our November newsletter. I forgot to add in the newsletter that I am not a huge turkey fan. So when Brad sent this recipe through I asked what you could use as an alternative. Brad gave lean beef mince the thumbs up.

Turkey Chilli

500g of lean turkey mince
Large can of red kidney beans
Large onion
Tin of whole peeled tomatoes
Packet of chilli con carne

Add 20ml of oil and heat
Add onions and brown
Add mince and brown
Mix in chilli con carne
Add tin tomatoes and kidney beans mix through well
Simmer for 10 mins

This makes 4 meals

You can add rice to this dish or eat with a side of salad if you are on a low carb diet.

As a treat you could also add some garlic bread to this meal.

I also like to have a nice can of Pesi Max with this meal.

It makes a good dinner or you can reheat for lunch the next day which I think tastes better. The meat takes on the chilli more after a day.

Just make sure to eat all of it within three days.
